πŸ”Ή mcp

πŸ€– Start the Capgo MCP (Model Context Protocol) server for AI agent integration.

Terminal window
npx @capgo/cli@latest mcp

This command starts a local stdio MCP server that exposes Capgo account tools for AI agents. The server is designed for non-interactive, programmatic use after npx @capgo/cli@latest login.

Use this local server when the agent needs files on your machine: uploading a bundle, requesting a native build, or running doctor and probe.

For everything else, the hosted MCP server at https://api.capgo.app/mcp needs no install. Paste the URL into Claude.ai, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code, Lovable, or any remote MCP client and sign in with OAuth (or send Authorization: Bearer <Capgo API key>). It covers apps, bundles, channels and rollouts, devices, statistics, Observe, native build status and logs, webhooks, and push notifications. See Hosted vs local MCP.

The hosted server also has capgo_search_docs for searching the Capgo documentation. Its machine-readable manifest is at https://capgo.app/.well-known/mcp.json, and capgo.app/mcp explains which server to use.

Available local tools include:

  • capgo_list_apps, capgo_add_app, capgo_update_app, capgo_delete_app
  • capgo_upload_bundle, capgo_list_bundles, capgo_delete_bundle, capgo_cleanup_bundles
  • capgo_list_channels, capgo_add_channel, capgo_update_channel, capgo_delete_channel
  • capgo_get_current_bundle, capgo_check_compatibility
  • capgo_list_organizations, capgo_add_organization
  • capgo_star_repository, capgo_star_all_repositories
  • capgo_get_account_id, capgo_doctor, capgo_get_stats
  • capgo_request_build, capgo_generate_encryption_keys
